I won’t lie. I win a lot of college football futures wagers each season. Every college season is loaded with winning propositions. Give me college football win totals any day of the year.

One thing is for sure. When you look up and down that college season win totals list, you’re looking at some great lines. You’ll also find some very interesting lines. Despite only winning 4 total games over the past two seasons and having only 1 winning season in the past 13 years, the UNLV Rebels win line is 3.5 this year. I bet you’re wondering why this line is 3.5 wins, right? Despite scraping the bottom of the barrel for years, this appears to be a come-out year for them.

And if you look at a team, such as Georgia, which many feel is the best team in college football for 2008, their win total line is only 9. With other colleges ahead of Georgia, could this be a plum line?

In fact, a team like Boise State is ahead of Georgia. Boise State is currently forecast for 9.5 wins. I wasn’t expecting Boise State to actually win 10+ games this season.

Lines makers can’t do it all. There are always gifts to be found with college football futures. Want a great betting tips? Bet on the smaller schools. Small schools are more prone to line errors in your favor.

The bigger colleges get lots of attention and therefore those lines are tight. It’s just like during the football season when each week games that are on TV or that feature big schools have very tight lines, but games with smaller colleges are subject to great lines.

The college football parlay card. It’s pure fun. Each week of the college football season, I make at least one football parlay bet.

The payouts for parlay cards are about the same across the board. Usually, you’ll find a couple different types of cards: ties win, 1/2 point and teaser.

Below, you’ll find the typical pay for winning a NCAA football parlay at any sportsbook.

College Football Parlay Payouts

2 Team College Parlay – 13/5
3 Team College Parlay – 6/1
4 Team College Parlay – 10/1
5 Team College Parlay – 20/1
6 Team College Parlay – 40/1
7 Team College Parlay – 75/1
8 Team College Parlay – 100/1
9 Team College Parlay – 150/1
10 Team College Parlay – 300/1
11 Team College Parlay – 450/1
12 Team College Parlay – 600/1
13 Team College Parlay – 750/1
14 Team College Parlay – 900/1
15 Team College Parlay – 1500/1

The more college football bets added to the card, the bigger the payout. Scoring on anything over a 6-team parlay is challenging. Still, I have scored on some large football parlay bets.

Normally, I don’t bet anything over a 5-team parlay. But there are exceptions. I love smaller parlay bets.

If it’s football season, you can be sure of one thing. I’m booking at least one college football parlay each week. While I don’t let parlay cards become a major part of my betting bankroll, I do love betting them weekly. If you’re new to college football betting, I recommend you stop right now and take 8 minutes to watch my free colle […]
    • Carolina Panthers Cut Keyshawn Johnson
The Carolina Panthers have decided to part ways with wide-receiver Keyshawn Johnson. This story is kind of sad. It was just the other day, during the NFL draft, when Johnson was beaming with pride, because the Panthers just selected Dwayne Jarrett from USC. "This guy is much like me," Johnson said.
    • Patriots Get Moss and Get Super Bowl XLII Odds Reduced
Let me just go on record right now and say that the New England Patriots won't win Super Bowl XLII. Five seconds after the trade for Randy Moss was announced, many NFL analysts crowned the Patriots as Super Bowl champs. The line for the Patriots winning Super Bowl XLII was at 9-1 before the trade. Seconds after the trade the line dropped almost in half […]
    • Green Bay Packers Draft Disaster
The Green Bay Packers had a present handed to them in the 1st round of the 2007 NFL draft and they decided to look a gift horse in the mouth. Instead, they took Justin Harrell, DT, from Tennessee. So, what's this gift I speak of? Well, if you followed the draft, you knew that Cleveland passed on Brady Quinn with their selection, which was 3rd overall— […]
    • Miami Dolphins Pick Who?
With the 9th overall selection in the 2007 NFL Draft, the Miami Dolphins select . . . You could hear boos the second the Dolphins' first pick—number nine overall—was announced. With almost all the college players available, the Dolphins took Ted Ginn Jr., WR, from Ohio State. Was a player who's best contribution might be as a return man worth t […]
